JAIME PARADA AVILAMTYCIC

Jaime Parada holds a Doctor of Engineering Degree from the University of Sheffield, UK. Has served as Chief Technology Officer of global companies, and as Director General of the National Council for Science and Technology. Is the founder of 2 high technology companies, and takes part on the Advisory Boards of several research centers and tech-based companies. In 2015, he received the Leadership Award by the Association of University Research Parks. He has spearheaded the program Nuevo Leon: fostering the knowledge based economy and society, and is the founder and president of the Research and Technology Innovation Park, PIIT. He is President of the National Academy of Engineering and the Director General of the Institute for Innovation and Technology Transfer of Nuevo Leon.
